Who We Are
Founded by Täs Zinck and Chase Jones, Biodesic Strategies offers permaculture design, consultation, and strategy to NW Arkansas and beyond
Täs Zinck
Täs (pronounced tosh) has been a life-long gardener who was exposed to sustainability, homesteading and horticulture at a young age. Upon discovering permaculture in highschool he learned how to integrate these interests into one study and has since been practicing permaculture for over 11 years. In 2014 he co-founded and managed Living Earth Ark Food Forestries, a non-profit dedicated to permaculture education and advocacy. He has apprenticed in Ozark herbalism, super-adobe construction and accumulated knowledge of green-infrastructure and sustainability skills from a variety of workshops, classes, and diligent self-study.

Chase is fascinated with how new and old techniques from around the world can be applied to modern permaculture applications. Cloey began educating herself on environmental issues at a young age. Inspired by other cultures around the world who held a closer relationship with their environments than the consumer driven culture of the United States, Cloey went on to study Cultural Anthropology and Sustainability through the University of Arkansas. After graduating, Cloey obtained her Permaculture Design Certification at an eco-farm in Costa Rica and later apprenticed on several other permaculture farms around the world. Cloey now works as an edible landscaper and permaculture gardener in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She spends her free time foraging wild-food, gardening with her cats, and continuing her education on permaculture, rewilding, and the relationship between humanitarian and environmental issues.
