Who We Are
Meet the Team
Täs Zinck
Täs (pronounced tosh) has been a life-long gardener who was exposed to sustainability, homesteading and horticulture at a young age. Upon discovering permaculture in highschool he learned how to integrate these interests into one study and has since been practicing permaculture for over 11 years. In 2014 he co-founded and managed Living Earth Ark Food Forestries, a non-profit dedicated to permaculture education and advocacy. He has apprenticed in Ozark herbalism, super-adobe construction and accumulated knowledge of green-infrastructure and sustainability skills from a variety of workshops, classes, and diligent self-study.

Chase Jones
Chase creates maps that allow for deep insights into the patterns of the landscape, which inform the decision-making process of a design. He also designs and implements perennial ecosystems, incorporating earthworks, polycultures, nutrient cycling systems, and strategies for helping communities manage their projects.
Chase recognizes that many challenges in regenerative design stem from the people involved—specifically, the roles, protocols, and systems needed to manage and sustain complex ecological systems. Traditional handoffs often leave stakeholders without the tools for long-term success. To address this, Chase collaborates with stakeholders to build the knowledge, skills, and inspiration needed to steward the ecosystem. This approach fosters environmental improvement and creates the community required for the system’s success. Chase manages diverse roles, from mapping landscape patterns to analyzing soil microbiomes, working closely with specialists to ensure every project element aligns. His integrated approach blends agroecology and community-building into a cooperative design framework and lifestyle.
