BIODESIC STRATEGIES
Beyond sustainability
Regenerative Design for
a Resilient Future
Systems-based land planning that restores soil function, optimizes water cycles, and builds resilient, productive landscapes aligned with nature’s patterns
GIS and Site Analysis
Reveal water flow, terrain constraints, and site-scale patterns to help inform design decisions
Soil Regeneration and Microscopy
Unlock the hidden life beneath your feet to cultivate healthier, more resilient ecosystems
Water Cycle Regeneration and Earthworks
Partner with your water cycle by creating water systems to recharge and manage water resources
Produce diverse, productive landscapes that mimic natural ecosystems to foster biodiversity & sustainable food production

Soil Food Web & Soil Microscopy
Healthy soil is alive. We assess biological abundance, fungal:bacterial ratios, and compost quality to identify what’s limiting performance.

GIS and Site Design
GIS reveals landscape-scale patterns invisible from the ground. We analyze elevation, slope, hydrology, soils, access, and vegetation to inform design decisions.
• Watershed Mapping
• Erosion Risk Analysis
• Basemap Creation
• Avenza Field Mapping
• Watershed-Scale Regional Analysis

Water Design & Earthworks
Re-hydrate your landscape and improve your local water cycle. We design systems that slow, spread, infiltrate, and safely convey water.
• Water Retention Landscape
• Pond Design
• Rain Gardens & Terrace Systems
• Erosion Mitigation
• Landscape Stabilization

Ecological Design & Regenerative Planning
We integrate soil, water, plants, and human systems into long-term land plans.
• Food Forests & Perennial Systems
• Native Habitat Restoration
• Phased Implementation
• Species Selection
• Soil Inoculation & Cover Cropping

Food Forest in Oklahoma
Explore a food forest in Northeastern Oklahoma. The project uses earthworks in the form of swales and rain gardens, and drip irrigation for the hydrological backbone. Soil restoration is taking place as we use cover crops, nitrogen fixers, compost and liquid biological amendments to reverse 80 years of conventional land management. Biome specific cultivars and nurse plants were used to improve resilience of the system. We also installed several large hugelkultur mounds which add texture, edge, and microclimates to the site. A central courtyard with wild flowers, bee hives and a bee bubbler help support the pollinators that support our crops.
